I’m Allison, and I’m so very happy you stopped by!
I’m a Midwest mom and wife who loves all four seasons, everything chocolate, a glass of wine with friends, crafting, traveling, a cold beer on a hot summer day and a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter day. I love writing/ storytelling, and making memories with my two busy boys and my husband who also doubles as my best friend!
I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart Shane, and we’re parents to two incredible and energetic little boys which have slowly but surely turned me into quite the referee! I have been blessed with the most incredible life and I look forward to sharing my journey with you…hopefully the tips and tricks I have learned as a Midwest mom, wife, career woman, and person of faith with help add value to your life and make at least some aspect of your life run more smoothly! Why reinvent the wheel when we can all join together, share our tips and tricks, enrich each other’s lives, and build the happy home we all strive to have?!?!

With the new balance I have in my life, I have realized what has helped me become the best version of myself. The balance has helped me build not just a home for my family, but build a HAPPY home for my family. My 5 key steps to building a happy home…
- Family…creating incredible memories and bonds with my family through traveling, special activities, party planning, organizing, and dating my husband over and over again!
- Faith …practicing my faith, serving others, spreading God’s word and love to my own children, knowing that God has a plan for all of us and trusting in that plan!
- Home…taking care of my home in all aspects such as cooking, cleaning, and decorating!
- Self…taking time for myself by doing the things I love and am passionate about…living healthier, teaching, crafting, storytelling, and blogging!
- Adventure…our country and world are packed full of the most incredible sights just waiting for us to explore!
