The Cast of Characters…
- 20 oz can pineapple chunks
- 10 oz jar maraschino cherries, or more to your taste!
- 1 lb green grapes (use as many as you would like for the amount of people you are serving!)
- 15 oz can mandarin oranges
- Juice of 1 lime & lime zest to taste
- 2 Tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a colander, rinse and pat dry pineapple, cherries, and grapes.
- Combine first 3 fruits in a serving bowl (the oranges easily fall apart, so save those to mix in until the end!)
- In a separate dish, mix honey and the juice of one lime
- Mix until the honey is completely dissolved in the lime juice
- Add the mandarin oranges to the first three fruits (the oranges fall apart easily, so gently stir in with other fruits)
- Pour the lime syrup over the fruit
- Gently mix to combine
- If you like lots of syrup with your fruit, keep as is…if you don’t like the fruit floating in syrup, drain out excess syrup in a colander
- Zest half of a lime over the fruit salad before serving
- Enjoy!
