BEST BBQ Pulled Pork…in a Crock Pot!

BBQ pulled pork is one of my most favorite sandwiches for family dinners!  

I especially love to make this during the summer months when I want a delicious meal (that my kids will actually eat!) without turning on the oven!

The Cast of Characters…

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless pork loin
  • 1 cup cherry Pepsi
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce (more if desired) – Use your favorite sauce!
  • Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend – I use the Mrs. Dash brand to make it fast…you could make your own if you prefer!

Instructions

  1. Spray crock pot with nonstick cooking spray
  2. Generously sprinkle all sides of the pork loin with the garlic rub
  3. Place in crock pot
  4. Pour 1 cup of cherry Pepsi into the crock pot
  5. Cover and cook on low until the meat is fall apart tender – 8 to 10 hours
  6. Take pork out of the crock pot and discard any excess fat
  7. Shred with two forks
  8. Place shredded pork back in the crock pot and coat with BBQ sauce
  9. Warm on low for 10 – 15 min or until BBQ sauce is warm
  10. Serve hot on hamburger buns
