What are your sweetest memories of childhood summers?
A few of my favorites include countless hours outdoors spent with family and friends, family vacations, cook outs, fireworks, and devouring hundreds of popsicles! After meeting my husband, trips up north to fish and boat were also added to the list of my favorite summer activities!
As a mom, I absolutely love spending lazy days soaking in the sun, and making memories that my children will look back on and smile whenever the word “summer” is spoken.
To keep us going and get my kids excited for summer, a few years ago we started creating a summer bucket list as a way to countdown to a summer filled with sun and family fun! Our list originally started out as a “Top 10,” however as my boys grew to have more of an opinion…they insisted we have a Top 100, which came from my son Blake’s need to try and count to 100 constantly (those were long days listening to that practice!). Even still, it has become a fun tradition for our family as each of us adds our favorite must do’s for the summer.
Take a peek at our list this year… you can create your own bucket list for your family…make it a Top 5, Top 10, or go for what Blake would say, “TOP 100!”
**COVID 19 Addition Below! All items on the list your family should be able to do SAFELY during the pandemic!

You’ve already been able to cross off a few of your list of 100!
YES!! We’ve got a great start so far! Here’s to a fun summer making great memories with the kids!!
This seems fun. Also a good unique one is to visit the center of the world on a farm west of Wausau. It’s one of four spots making center of world. 2 are in the oceans, and one is in China mountains, and the last one in Wisconsin!
Great idea! Thank you so much for sharing! I will have to add this to our family list of things to visit! I’m sure the readers will love visiting this place as well!
